Responsible for management and control of all headquarters documents, including active and inactive records storage, access control, retention and destruction. The primary focus of this position is quality system documentation and quality records, but can include financial, legal and other corporate records. Responsible for interfacing with the operations and compliance of records control centers throughout the global organization. Responsible for overseeing the Records Management and Change Management departments in Corporate. Evaluate the future needs of the system(s) and participate in the daily activities of the records control and change management functions.
Qualification Requirements
Bachelor of Arts, Bachelor of Science degree in business, engineering, medical or science. Relevant extensive experience may be substituted for a lesser degree.
Preferred Qualifications
A minimum of 8 years experience in records management and/or document control/Labeling areas. Competent understanding of international and domestic regulations regarding records control. Competent understanding of document management practices from within the industry and outside the industry. Demonstrates good oral and written communications skills. Demonstrates good interpersonal skills and able to maintain an effective working relationship with all levels of personnel. Ability to work under pressure and adhere to set schedules. Good organizational and planning skills.
Responsibilities
Prepare departmental objectives and long range needs. Hire, train, supervise Document control and Labeling Management Group personnel and evaluate employee performance, provide motivation and implement personal and department incentives. Develop a records control center at the headquarters facility. Standardize document management and labeling management practices across the entire corporation and develop best practices. Evaluate the organization's needs for vital records storage and records storage throughout the global facilities. Interface with the document control and labeling management personnel as necessary to meet departmental objectives. Participate in on-going company improvement efforts. Create, update and issue written procedures for document control and labeling management. Evaluate new technologies for document control and labeling. Consult with users to incorporate improvements to the systems. Facilitate training of employees on the policies and procedures associated with records management and/or change management. Adhere to and ensure the compliance of Arrow's Code of Conduct, all Company policies, rules, procedures and housekeeping standards.
