Experience Requirements
At least three years experience in medical device design or manufacturing. cGMP and medical quality system familiarity, including process validation and documentation. Experience in training assembly workers. Knowledge of application of basic statistics for medical manufacturing. Fixture and/or design and implementation.
Qualification Requirements
Four year degree in acceptable technical field.
Preferred Qualifications
In-depth experience with extrusion processes and materials for medical devices. Familiarity with design and manufacture of reinforced polymer shafts for medical devices. Six Sigma Green or Black Belt in medical manufacturing field.
Responsibilities
Lead and manage multi-functional teams in taking customer-designed components from prototype to full production. Includes process validation,fixtures design and validation, developing standard costs, training production personnel and documentation. Implementing new methods and capabilities. Plus new product prototype development.
